10 tips for reporting qualitative data (07 Jan 13)

A checklist on what to do once you have analysed the data


The main points to note are:

• use the structure which has emerged in the analysis, using the main themes and relationships

• keep it to a reasonable length e.g. a maximum of 50 pages (without quotes)

• write in clear everyday language

• use carefully chosen quotes to make key points - these can have a big impact
