Want to cut through apathy and get your residents really involved? You must first understand what stops them - then remove some of the obstacles (10 Nov 13)

How do you motivate them to join in? Find out here

We all complain that residents donít participate more.

But when you think about it there are lots of pretty good reasons why.

For a start they often have to put up with constant staff turnover and changes in who is responsible for what. Hardly a recipe for quick wins Ė especially if staff themselves arenít really clear about what is going on.
