Consider these things before you conduct any research. Afterwards may be too late
More and more organisations are collecting data. We are all so keen to find out from people what they think that we are in danger of consulting the public too often.
The problems this causes are obvious: falling response rates, a greater cost per respondent to collect the information and a growing weariness among the public with our efforts.
