Your two presenters couldn’t be better qualified to take you through the topic.

Thomas ChanThomas Chan is a widely respected member of the UK’s Chinese community. Thomas sat on the Home Secretary’s Race Relations Forum from 1998 to 2001, he works closely with the Institute of Linguists and he is Chairman of the UK Chinese Take Away Association.

Jack Shieh is a refugee from Vietnam and has worked with refugees from Vietnam since 1980. Between 1988 and 1993 he was the Director of Refugee Action, a leading Agency in the co-ordination of the resettlement of refugees from Vietnam. He was awarded an OBE in 1993 for services to the resettlement of refugees in the UK.
